Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 fillets tuna fillets (fresh or frozen and thawed)
  • 4 regular size taco shells

Fruits

  • 1 pitted, peeled, and diced ripe mango
  • 1 pitted, peeled, and diced ripe avocado

Vegetables

  • 0.5 finely chopped small red onion
  • 1 seeds removed, minced small jalapeno

Herbs & Spices

  • 1 handful finely chopped fresh cilantro (plus more for garnish)
  • 2 juice and zest lime
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika

Oils & Condiments

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Seasonings

  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions 

  • Combine mango, avocado, red onion, jalapeno, cilantro, and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Mix cumin, coriander, and paprika. Season tuna with this spice blend.
  • Heat oil, sear tuna 2-3 minutes per side, then rest and flake.
  • Warm taco shells, fill with tuna, top with salsa, and garnish with cilantro.
  • Serve with lime wedges.
