Instructions
Cream together butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla on medium-high until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
Add flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt; mix on low until just combined.
Stir in candy corn and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Form dough into 2-tablespoon mounds, chill for at least 3 hours, then bake at 350°F for 9 minutes.
Place cookies on a lined baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart, and bake until edges are set.
Cool on baking sheet 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Place candy corn inside the cookies to prevent melting and burning on the baking sheet.
