chopped red bell peppers

thinly sliced carrots
1 heaping cup
frozen green beans
1 medium
white onion
(thinly sliced)

onion powder
(optional)
⅓ cup
sodium-reduced soy sauce
(use tamari if gluten-free)
⅓ cup
water
2 Tbsp
sugar
(brown sugar)
1 Tbsp
rice vinegar
(or apple vinegar)
3 tsp
chopped garlic
2 tsp
chopped ginger
2 tsp
corn starch
1/2 tsp
chili flakes
(optional, for spice)
Instructions
Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add cubed tofu and cook until crispy, then set aside.
Stir-fry vegetables and garlic, ginger, and onion powder until tender.
Mix soy sauce, water, sugar, rice vinegar, and chili flakes; add to vegetables.
Return tofu to skillet, add cornstarch slurry, and cook until sauce thickens.
Notes
Press tofu well to remove excess moisture for crispiness.
