Enjoy a delicious and healthy bowl of tender salmon glazed with teriyaki sauce, served over jasmine rice with steamed vegetables.
Ingredients
Salmon

(store-bought or homemade)

Instructions
Rinse rice, then cook with water for 15-20 minutes. Let sit covered for 5 minutes, then fluff.
Heat olive oil in a skillet, season salmon with salt and pepper, cook skin-side down for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook 3-4 minutes.
Add teriyaki sauce to the skillet, simmer for 2-3 minutes, spooning over salmon.
Steam broccoli until tender, add shredded carrots in the last minute.
Divide rice into bowls, top with salmon, vegetables, drizzle with sauce, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in some teriyaki sauce before cooking.
