Ingredients

Canned Tuna

  • 10 ounces tuna in water (drained well)
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise (preferably avocado oil mayo)
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce (adjust to spice preference)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 0.25 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 0.25 cup finely chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 4 large whole wheat tortillas (spinach or preferred)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (romaine or mixed greens)
  • 0.5 cup shredded carrots
  • 0.5 cup thinly sliced cucumber
  • 0.25 cup bean sprouts (optional)
  • 1 avocado sliced

Sesame seeds

Instructions 

  • Drain the tuna well and set aside.
  • Mix mayonnaise, Sriracha, lime juice, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  • Add ground ginger and garlic powder; stir to combine.
  • Combine drained tuna with sauce mixture, then fold in red onion, celery, and cilantro.
  • Spread lettuce, carrots, cucumber, bean sprouts, and avocado on tortillas, add tuna salad, roll, and garnish with sesame seeds.

Notes

Chill the tuna salad for better flavor before assembling.
