A flavorful baked sushi dish combining seasoned rice, spicy salmon, and savory toppings for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Rice

  • 3 cups cooked short-grain sushi rice
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound cooked salmon fillets, flaked
  • 1/2 cup Kewpie mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup furikake (Japanese rice seasoning)
  • 2 green onions green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 sheet roasted nori, shredded
  • 2 packs small roasted seaweed snacks for serving

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt; stir into cooked rice. Spread in a baking dish and sprinkle furikake.
  • Combine salmon, mayonnaise, sriracha, and cream cheese; spread over rice and furikake.
  • Bake 15-20 minutes until golden. Garnish with green onions and shredded nori. Serve with seaweed snacks.

Notes

For extra flavor, add sesame seeds or a drizzle of soy sauce before serving.
