Spooky and fun Halloween donuts that look like slime monsters, perfect for a festive treat!

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter - room temp
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1/4 Cup Sour Cream or Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Cup Whole Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Purple Gel Food Coloring

Frosting & Decoration

  • 1½ Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 3-4 Tablespoons Heavy Cream
  • 1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 3-4 Drops Green Gel Food Coloring

Instructions 

  • Mix dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately, then combine to form dough.
  • Shape dough into donut forms and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
  • Let donuts cool, then prepare frosting by mixing powdered sugar with heavy cream, lime juice, and green food coloring.
  • Frost donuts and add purple accents to create slime monster effects.
  • Serve and enjoy your spooky Halloween donuts!
