Ingredients

Marinade

  • 0.125 cup olive oil
  • 0.5 lemon lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp dried dill
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp sea salt
  • 0.25 lb shrimp peeled and deveined, tails removed
  • 2 pitas pitas

Vegetables

  • to taste Cucumber sliced
  • to taste Tomato sliced
  • to taste Red onion sliced
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 0.25 cup grated cucumber
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.5 lemon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill weed chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill weed)

Instructions 

  • Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, dill, garlic, and salt to make marinade.
  • Toss shrimp in marinade, cover, and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Preheat grill or grill pan. Grill shrimp 3-4 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • Cut pitas in half, spread tzatziki inside, and fill with vegetables and grilled shrimp.
  • Top with crumbled feta and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon before serving.
