These savory wraps combine fresh spinach and mushrooms in a creamy cheese spread, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 4 large Flour Tortillas (Whole wheat or spinach recommended)
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese (Dairy-free option for vegan)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (Any cooking oil can be substituted)
  • 1 large Yellow Onion (Shallots can be used for a milder flavor)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (Minced, garlic powder can be used)
  • 8 ounces Cremini Mushrooms (White button mushrooms can be substituted)
  • 4 cups Fresh Baby Spinach (Frozen spinach, drained, can be used)
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano (Italian seasoning is a good substitute)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (Adjust according to your taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper (Freshly ground preferred)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (Omit if desired)

Instructions 

  • Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic in olive oil until fragrant and translucent.
  • Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender, then stir in spinach, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until spinach is wilted.
  • Spread cream cheese evenly over each tortilla, then spoon the mushroom-spinach mixture onto the center of each.
  • Roll up the tortillas tightly to form wraps.
  • Serve immediately or cut in half for easier eating.

Notes

For a vegan version, use dairy-free cream cheese and skip the cheese spread.
