A delicious and healthy smoothie perfect for a quick breakfast or snack, blending blueberries, banana, and creamy yogurt.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 piece ripe banana

Dairy & Liquids

  • 1 cup yogurt or dairy-free alternative
  • 1 cup almond milk or milk of choice

Sweeteners & Flavorings

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Ice

  • as needed ice cubes (for a thicker smoothie)

Instructions 

  • Gather all ingredients and peel the banana.
  • Combine blueberries, banana, yogurt, almond milk, and optional sweeteners in a blender.
  • Add ice cubes if desired for a thicker texture, then blend until smooth.
  • Blend on high until mixture is creamy and well combined.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey or maple syrup if needed.
  • Pour into a glass, garnish with blueberries or banana slices if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

For a colder smoothie, use frozen berries and banana.
