A quick and flavorful stir-fry combining ground beef with vibrant vegetables and a spicy sauce, served over steamed rice.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound Ground Beef (Substitute with ground turkey or chicken if preferred.)
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce (Use low-sodium for a healthier option.)
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar (Honey or agave syrup can be used as alternatives.)
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Flakes (Adjust to spice preference.)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil (Olive oil can be used as a substitute.)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (Minced for best flavor.)
  • 2 cups Broccoli (Alternative options include snow peas or bok choy.)
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper (Zucchini or carrots can be substituted.)
  • 1 medium Zucchini (Asparagus or green beans work as alternatives.)
  • 1 cup Mushrooms (Any preferred variety can be used.)
  • 4 cups Steamed White Rice (Substitutes include brown rice or cauliflower rice.)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil (Any neutral cooking oil can be used.)

Instructions 

  • Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic, chili flakes, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Stir well and cook for 2 minutes.
  • In a separate pan, sauté broccoli, bell pepper, zucchini, and mushrooms in olive oil until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Serve the beef mixture over steamed rice and top with garlic veggies.

Notes

Adjust spice levels by modifying chili flakes to taste.
