Ingredients

Peaches

  • 4 cups fresh or canned peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour melted butter into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Mix flour, sugar, and milk in a medium bowl to make batter.
  • Pour batter over melted butter without stirring.
  • Distribute peach slices evenly over the batter.
  • Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg on top before baking.
