This quick and flavorful salmon recipe delivers perfectly seared fillets with a fragrant herb butter sauce in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 oz Salmon fillets (skin on, about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 6 tbsp Salted butter (softened)
  • 1.5 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions 

  • Mix butter, lemon juice, garlic, dill, and parsley; set aside.
  • Pat salmon dry; season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil in skillet over medium-high; add salmon skin side down and sear 5-6 minutes.
  • Flip salmon; add herb butter, cook 1 minute, then spoon sauce over.
  • Remove from pan; serve immediately with lemon butter sauce.

Notes

Ensure salmon skin is dry for a crispy crust.
