Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar

Wet Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  • Mix dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Combine melted butter with sugars; add eggs and vanilla.
  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet; fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop batter into liners; bake 18-20 minutes. Cool before serving.

Notes

For extra fudginess, slightly underbake and let sit for a few minutes before removing from the oven.
