black olives
1cupblack olives(pitted, left whole or sliced)
basil

2tbspfresh parsley(chopped, plus more for garnish)
tuna steaks
45 oztuna steaks
kosher and ground black pepper
kosher and ground black pepper(to taste)
capers
4tspcapers(nonpareil, drained)
Instructions
Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft, about 3 minutes.
Add garlic and cook until golden, about 2 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, olives, basil, and parsley; cook until thickened, 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat.
Season tuna steaks with salt and pepper. In another skillet, heat remaining 2 tbsp olive oil over medium-high. Cook tuna 2-3 minutes per side until lightly browned.
Pour sauce over tuna, add capers, and cook 3-5 minutes. Serve garnished with parsley.
