  • 4 fillets salmon fillets (skin on best (150-180g/5-6oz each, Note 1))
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for cooking)
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce (low sodium (85 ml))
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Parsley, chives or green onion (finely chopped)
  • Lemon slices

Instructions 

  • Mix soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, olive oil, and minced garlic to create the marinade.
  • Marinate the salmon fillets in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Grill the salmon for 4-6 minutes per side until cooked through.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley, chives, or green onion and lemon slices before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the salmon marinate longer or add a touch of black pepper.
