This yogurt cake is a light, fluffy treat perfect for any occasion. Easy to make and delightfully moist, it’s a healthier dessert option.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Wet ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 lemon (optional) lemon zest (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a cake pan.
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl; whisk wet ingredients in another.
  • Combine wet and dry mixtures gently; pour into pan.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack; serve as desired.

Notes

You can add lemon zest for extra flavor or top with fresh berries for presentation.
