Delicious and easy honey garlic shrimp bowls packed with flavor and vibrant vegetables, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

shrimp, thawed or fresh, peeled and deveined
Oil

sesame oil or avocado oil
Spices

red pepper flakes
Vegetables

green onion, chopped or sliced

julienned carrots or sautéed veggies of choice
Grains

cooked rice or grain of choice
Aromatics & Sauces

garlic, minced

raw honey

cup
low sodium soy sauce

sweet chili sauce

lemon juice

minced ginger or ginger paste

cornstarch, optional, to thicken sauce
Instructions
Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, chili sauce, lemon juice, and ginger. Set aside.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook shrimp with red pepper flakes until pink, 1-2 minutes per side.
Pour sauce over shrimp, simmer 3-4 minutes until thickened.
Prepare rice and sauté vegetables until tender. Assemble bowls with rice, vegetables, shrimp, and sauce.
Garnish with green onions and red pepper flakes. Serve warm.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, add a small amount of cornstarch dissolved in water during simmering.
