A delicious and nutritious steak bowl that's quick to prepare and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb flank or skirt steak (also works with sirloin)

Oil

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Liquids

  • 2 tbsp lime juice

Instructions 

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  • Season the steak with salt and pepper, then cook for 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness.
  • Remove steak from skillet and let rest for a few minutes.
  • Slice the steak thinly against the grain.
  • Drizzle lime juice over the sliced steak and serve over your choice of grains or greens.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the steak with lime juice and spices beforehand.
