Healthy Mediterranean Chicken Wrap

A delicious and nutritious wrap filled with grilled chicken and fresh vegetables, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pieces Chicken breast (boneless, skinless)

Carbohydrates

  • 4 pieces Whole grain wrap

Vegetables

  • 2 cups Tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 cup Cucumbers (sliced)
  • 1 cup Bell peppers (sliced into strips)
  • 1 cup Spinach or lettuce

Other ingredients

  • 1 small Red onion (sliced thinly)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons Hummus or tzatziki or pesto
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano (dried)
  • to taste Salt

Feta cheese (optional)

Instructions 

  • Marinate chicken in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, and salt for 30 mins. Grill or bake until cooked.
  • Prepare vegetables: dice tomatoes, slice cucumbers, bell peppers, and red onion. Warm wraps.
  • Spread hummus or sauce on wrap, add vegetables, sliced chicken, drizzle with olive oil, and lemon juice. Add feta if desired.
  • Fold sides and roll up tightly. Slice in half and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken longer or add herbs to the vegetables.
