  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • ½ cup water
  • 8 Corn or flour tortillas tortillas
  • 1 cup Lettuce (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup Shredded Mexican cheese blend or cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Tomatoes (chopped)
  • ½ cup Red onions (chopped)

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Add chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, salt, pepper, tomato paste, and water. Stir and cook until sauce thickens, 3-5 minutes.
  • Serve beef in tortillas topped with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and onions.
