A quick and hearty one-pan meal combining seasoned ground beef, rice, and vegetables for a satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
Meat and grains

lean ground beef
1
cup
long-grain white rice
2
cups
beef broth
1
can (14.5 oz)
diced tomatoes

olive oil

tsp
paprika
1
tsp
dried oregano
to taste
Salt and pepper

medium
onion (diced)

cloves
garlic (minced)
Optional: 1
cup
shredded cheddar cheese for topping
Instructions
Heat oil in skillet, cook beef until browned; season with salt and pepper.
Add onions, peppers, and garlic; sauté 3-4 minutes.
Stir in paprika and oregano.
Add rice, then pour in broth and tomatoes; bring to boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 18-20 minutes; fluff rice and add cheese if desired.
Notes
You can add cheese at the end for extra flavor.
