Enjoy these flavorful grilled shrimp skewers, perfect for a quick and delicious meal or appetizer.

Ingredients

shrimp

  • 500 g medium to large shrimp (deveined and cleaned)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (light or dark)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic minced (or 2 teaspoons minced garlic or 1 tablespoon garlic powder)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (any type)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • to taste none salt (to season)

Instructions 

  • Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl.
  • Add shrimp to marinade and marinate for 20 minutes.
  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 15 minutes.
  • Preheat grill pan, thread 4-5 shrimp per skewer, and grill for 2 minutes per side.
  • Brush with remaining marinade, serve with lime wedges.
