Ingredients

Shrimp

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)
  • 2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1-2 teaspoons red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked or sweet paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Garnish

  • chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions 

  • Rinse and dry the shrimp; remove tails if desired.
  • Mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay, red pepper flakes, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Toss shrimp in marinade; let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  • Preheat grill; thread shrimp and cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • Rest briefly, then serve garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.

Notes

Ensure not to over-marinate to keep the shrimp tender.
