Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Dairy

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • to taste salt and pepper salt and pepper

Bread

  • 4 pieces whole wheat wraps or pita breads

Vegetables

  • 1 piece cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 red onion red onion, thinly sliced

Garnish

  • for garnish fresh mint and parsley

Instructions 

  • Mix Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper to make the tzatziki marinade.
  • Marinate chicken in the yogurt mixture for 30 minutes to 2 hours, then grill or cook until done. Rest and slice into strips.
  • Arrange wraps with cucumber, tomatoes, onion, and chicken. Add extra tzatziki and herbs if desired.
  • Roll up the wraps, fold in sides, and serve immediately or wrap for on-the-go.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon or fresh herbs before serving.
