A quick and flavorful whole wheat chicken pasta tossed in garlic butter and Parmesan, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced into strips

Pasta

  • 8 oz whole wheat spaghetti

Dairy & Fats

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

Garlic

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

Cheese

  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Herbs & Spices

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve 1 cup of water, then drain.
  • Season chicken with salt and pepper; cook in 1 tbsp butter until golden, then set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt remaining butter, add garlic, and cook 1 minute.
  • Add pasta to skillet, toss with garlic butter, add chicken, pour reserved water, then stir in Parmesan and parsley.
  • Garnish with parsley and chili flakes; serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon or a drizzle of olive oil before serving.
