A quick and flavorful dish combining succulent shrimp with garlic butter and rice, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Butter

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Shrimp

  • 500 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Garlic

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Seasoning

  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Cooked Rice

  • 2 cups cooked white rice

Herbs

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Lemon

  • for serving Lemon wedges

Instructions 

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then cook minced garlic for 1 minute.
  • Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes; cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • Remove shrimp and set aside; add cooked rice to the skillet, stirring to coat and heat through.
  • Return shrimp to the skillet, toss with rice, then sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  • Serve with lemon wedges for added flavor.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
