This flavorful baked salmon is infused with garlic and lemon, making it a perfect quick and healthy dinner option.

Ingredients

Salmon

  • 4 filets salmon filets (6 oz each)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice (plus extra lemon slices for topping)
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard

Garnish

  • to taste fresh chopped parsley

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Let salmon come to room temperature.
  • Pat salmon dry, season with salt and pepper, and place on a lined baking sheet.
  • Melt butter, stir in garlic, lemon juice, and mustard. Brush over salmon and top with lemon slices.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until opaque and flaky. Garnish with parsley before serving.
