Frozen Chocolate Covered Bananas

Enjoy these delicious frozen bananas dipped in chocolate and topped with sprinkles and nuts for a sweet treat.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 4 pieces Bananas (The more ripe the bananas, the better!)
  • 12 ounces Chocolate Chips (semi sweet or milk chocolate)
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Oil
  • 0.25 cup Sprinkles
  • 0.25 cup Peanuts (chopped)

Instructions 

  • Peel and cut bananas in half lengthwise, then insert a popsicle stick into each.
  • Place bananas on parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 3 hours.
  • Microwave chocolate and coconut oil on half power for 2-3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
  • Dip frozen bananas into melted chocolate, then immediately sprinkle with nuts or sprinkles.
  • Place dipped bananas on parchment to cool, then serve. Store leftovers in freezer up to one month.

Notes

For easier dipping, work quickly after melting the chocolate.
