A delicious and creamy shrimp pasta dish packed with flavor and perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 ounces linguine noodles
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1.5 tablespoons butter (used in parts)

Shrimp

  • 1 pound raw shrimp (frozen, peeled, and deveined)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon old bay seasoning (or substitute with smoked paprika or cajun spices)
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (also known as double cream in the UK)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions 

  • Cook the linguine noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and Old Bay seasoning. Cook until pink and cooked through.
  • Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Add cooked pasta and chopped parsley to the sauce. Toss to combine and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle additional parsley or grated cheese before serving.
