Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice baguette and place on a baking sheet.
Brush bread slices with olive oil and toast for 6–8 minutes until golden.
Rub toasted bread with peeled garlic clove.
Mix diced tomatoes, olive oil, salt, pepper, and basil; let sit for 5 minutes.
Top bread slices with tomato mixture and mozzarella. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
Notes
Use fresh, ripe tomatoes for the best flavor.
