A refreshing and detoxifying bedtime drink made with cucumber, ginger, lemon, and mint to promote relaxation and hydration.
Ingredients

warm water

sodium bicarbonate baking soda

(approximately 400g)

fresh ginger root
(about 2-3cm)

juice of 1 large lemon

fresh lemon juice

fresh mint leaves
(or 1 teaspoon dried mint)

filtered water

honey or stevia
(for sweetness, optional)

sea salt
(for electrolyte balance, optional)
Instructions
Dissolve baking soda in warm water in a large bowl.
Wash cucumbers thoroughly, soak in baking soda solution for 15 minutes, then rinse.
Cut cucumbers into chunks, peel ginger, and extract lemon juice.
Blend cucumber, ginger, lemon juice, and mint with 250ml filtered water until smooth.
Add remaining water, strain through a fine sieve, and chill or serve immediately over ice.
Notes
Adjust sweetness and flavor as desired. For a colder drink, add ice cubes before serving.
