Ingredients

Salmon fillets

  • 4 fillets Salmon fillets (6 oz each) (Opt for center-cut, skin-on for even cooking.)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil (Use extra-virgin for best flavor.)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder (Can combine with fresh garlic for extra punch.)
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder (Substitute with minced shallot if needed.)
  • to taste Salt (Flaky sea salt recommended.)
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 wedges Lemon wedges (Warm briefly for juice release.)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh herbs (Dill or parsley, sprinkle post-baking.)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Brush salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Place fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until skin is crispy and fish is cooked through.
  • Squeeze lemon juice over the fillets and sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon with herbs and lemon for 30 minutes before baking.
