A delicious and healthy casserole combining lean turkey, spinach, and creamy cheese, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Meat and Dairy

  • 1 lb ground turkey (lean)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
  • 1 egg egg

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×9 baking dish.
  • Cook ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat for 6–8 minutes until browned.
  • Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, and spinach; cook until spinach wilts, about 2–3 minutes.
  • Reduce heat and mix in cream cheese until melted; cool for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in beaten egg and ½ cup cheddar cheese; transfer to baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden; let rest 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can add diced red bell peppers or Greek yogurt for extra flavor and creaminess.
