A delicious and protein-packed pasta dish with a creamy beef sauce, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 225 g penne pasta

Meat

  • 450 g lean ground beef

Oils and Aromatics

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Sauce and Broth

  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth

Dairy and Cheese

  • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt (or cottage cheese)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)

Seasonings

  • to taste Salt and black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • Brown ground beef in a skillet with olive oil, then drain excess fat.
  • Add onion and garlic to the beef, sauté until softened.
  • Stir in tomato paste, then add beef broth and simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Lower heat, mix in Greek yogurt and shredded cheese until creamy. Combine with pasta and season to taste. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

Use full-fat Greek yogurt for creaminess and flavor.
