Ingredients

Protein

  • 1.5 lb shrimp (peeled, deveined)

Dairy

  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup heavy cream

Grains

  • 3 cups cooked jasmine or basmati rice

Herbs & Seasonings

  • Fresh parsley (finely chopped) Fresh parsley
  • Fresh dill (finely chopped) Fresh dill
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions 

  • Combine cooked rice with herbs, salt, and olive oil; fluff with a fork.
  • Melt 2 Tbsp butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  • Season shrimp with salt and pepper; cook until opaque.
  • Add remaining butter and heavy cream; simmer until thickened.
  • Return shrimp to sauce; stir in lemon juice and herbs. Serve over rice.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with additional herbs or a squeeze of lemon.
