A delicious and creamy chicken pasta dish perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pieces Chicken Breast Boneless and skinless
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (or fresh garlic)
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano (fresh preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil (fresh preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (or preferred cooking oil)
  • 12 oz Penne Pasta (any pasta shape can be used)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (unsalted preferred)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (or half-and-half for a lighter option)
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, and basil.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken until golden and cooked through; remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter, then add heavy cream and Parmesan; stir until smooth and heated through.
  • Return chicken to the skillet, add cooked pasta, and toss to combine. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or lemon zest.
