Ingredients

Pears

  • 4 pieces firm pears (Bosc or Anjou recommended)
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Core and halve the pears, then place cut-side up in a baking dish.
  • Mix honey and cinnamon, then spoon over pears. Pour water into dish, add butter if using.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes until tender.
  • Serve warm, spooning syrup over pears.
