  • 2 pounds ground chicken
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups very cold club soda
  • as needed Vegetable oil or canola oil for frying (For frying)

Instructions 

  • Mix ground chicken with seasonings until evenly combined.
  • Shape chicken mixture into nuggets and freeze for 1 hour.
  • Roll nuggets in cornstarch, then dip in batter made with flour, baking powder, spices, and club soda.
  • Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry nuggets until golden and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauces.

Notes

Ensure oil is hot enough before frying to achieve crispy nuggets.
