Delight in these rich, chewy brownies with a perfect chocolate flavor and fudgy texture, easy to make at home.

Ingredients

Eggs and Vanilla

  • 4 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Dry ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Wet ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch dish and line with parchment.
  • Whisk eggs and vanilla in a bowl for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder; whisk for 1 minute.
  • Melt butter, then whisk in sugar. Combine with egg mixture.
  • Stir in flour just until combined, then fold in chocolate chips. Spread into dish and bake 35-40 minutes.

Notes

For extra fudginess, slightly underbake and let cool before cutting.
