steak, cut into bite-sized pieces (Sirloin or your favorite cut)

rice (White rice works best, brown rice may alter cooking time)
Broth

beef broth (Homemade or store-bought)
Cheese

shredded cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or pepper jack for a kick)

Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic; cook until fragrant.
Add steak pieces to the skillet; cook until browned.
Stir in rice and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Pour in beef broth, season with salt and pepper, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until rice is tender, about 15 minutes.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top, cover, and cook until cheese melts, about 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.
Notes
