Ingredients

Bread

  • 8 slices ciabatta bread (or any crusty bread)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Tomatoes

  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 10 leaves fresh basil (chopped)
  • 8 ounces burrata cheese (use fresh for best taste)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and toast for 5-7 minutes until golden.
  • Mix cherry tomatoes, garlic, salt, pepper, and basil in a bowl.
  • Spread tomato mixture on toasted bread slices, top with torn burrata, and drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
