Ingredients

Meat

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 0.75 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Skewers

Instructions 

  • Mix barbecue sauce, oil, sugar, and spices to create marinade.
  • Toss chicken with marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  • Thread chicken onto skewers.
  • Grill over medium-high heat, turning and charring evenly.
  • Brush with additional sauce near the end and cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Rest briefly before serving.

Notes
