A delicious and easy-to-make flatbread topped with barbecue chicken, cheese, and fresh herbs, perfect for a quick meal or snack.

Ingredients

Flatbreads

  • 2 pieces flatbreads or naan
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or chopped
  • 0.5 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  • Brush flatbreads with olive oil and place on the baking sheet.
  • Toss cooked chicken with 1/4 cup barbecue sauce. Spread remaining sauce on flatbreads.
  • Top with cheese, BBQ chicken, and red onion. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cheese melts and edges are golden.
  • Remove from oven, sprinkle with cilantro and black pepper. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a drizzle of honey or hot sauce before serving.
