A delicious and healthy baked salmon recipe topped with flavorful herb butter and lemon slices.

Ingredients

Salmon

  • 4 fillets salmon (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste salt salt
  • to taste pepper pepper
  • 1 whole lemon (sliced)
  • 0.25 cup fresh herbs (such as parsley, dill, or thyme, chopped)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

Instructions 

  • Mix softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped herbs to make herb butter. Set aside.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment. Place salmon, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper.
  • Top each fillet with lemon slices and a dollop of herb butter.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until flaky and internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Let rest briefly before serving with sides.

Use fresh herbs for best flavor.
