Ingredients

  • 4 medium pears (ripe but firm)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil (or butter)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Peel, halve, and core the pears.
  • Arrange pear halves face down on a baking sheet.
  • Mix honey, cinnamon, coconut oil, and vanilla; heat briefly until blended.
  • Spoon sauce over pears and bake for 30 minutes until tender.
  • Cool for 5 minutes, then serve with extra sauce if desired.
