Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Mix apples and filling ingredients; spread in a sprayed baking dish.
Whisk dry topping ingredients; cut in butter until coarse crumbs.
Stir in milk to form sticky dough; tear into 6 pieces and drop over filling.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until browned and bubbly.
Serve warm with vanilla frozen yogurt or ice cream.
Notes
For best results, use firm apples and ensure butter is cold for flaky topping.
